Lost Eden
I
created these three paintings for my solo presentation at Taipei Dangai 2023,
after which a new chapter in my artistic exploration has opened. Instead of
cityscapes full of buildings and towers, I focus on two types of shapes on a
two-dimensional canvas: natural, organic shapes and man-made, geometric shapes.
One is wild and eternal, while the other is rational and temporary. I find
this contrast interesting because it reflects how the mix of chaos and order
shapes human history. However, this dynamic has not quite been balanced for a
long time, and that is why our tragedy continues.
